The Student Leadership Center at Alfred State College is a 69,000 sq. ft., four story student center building located in the heart of the academic campus. The Center has a state-of-the-art leadership institute as well as a café, and spaces for student-run clubs and organizations. The center houses a mixed program of campus clubs & student government offices, public gathering spaces, food services, a climbing wall, a radio station and “dirty space” for students to engage in engineering projects.
Landon & Rian Enterprises, Inc. (L & R) provided MWBE & EEO Compliance Monitoring & Reporting services on both the pre-bid (Outreach) and construction phase of the project. L & R’s responsibilities during the construction phase included attending monthly project meetings, conducting site visits, review of monthly MWBE & EEO submittals, MWBE Subcontractor payment review, certified payroll review, completion of monthly MWBE & EEO reports and assisting with any issues that may affect the approved utilization plan.
